PROGRAM TOPIC: "Whether a Surety Can Hide Behind a Conditional Payment Clause," Brad Parrot, with the law firm of Shapiro Fussell
Conditional Payment Clauses are a pain in the side of Subcontractors and can be found in just about every contract issued by a General Contractor. Brad will address the question of how far reaching these clauses are as it relates to a Surety stepping in when a job has gone bad.
