Tom Lerick – Construction Industry Relations Manager for Life Time Construction will be our speaker on May 16th. Tom’s 30 years in the construction industry working with national projects and developments will provide an overview of the opportunities for subcontractors and suppliers on both new club construction and existing club expansions and renovations. Life Time currently operates 6 Life Time Athletic clubs in the Atlanta area and will be expanding its footprint here.
Life Time Construction is the General Contractor for all Life Time projects. They are owned by the parent company and only work on Life Time projects.
Life Time is the Premier Athletic Club in the United States. They design, construct, operate and own all of their facilities. Currently, there are 142 open clubs in the States and 3 of these are in the Toronto area.
Life Time has been in existence for 27 years and is a private company.
They are on a major expansion through-out the US. Their goal is to open a club a month, and for 2018, they reached that goal and are well on our way to 10 openings for 2019.
Life Time currently operates 6 athletic clubs in Georgia. They are located in Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Norcross, Sandy Springs, Lawrenceville and Woodstock.
Next year they will be adding a new club to Phipps Plaza in Atlanta (announced on the Phipps Plaza website).
In addition to the athletic clubs, Life Time Construction is also building Life Time Work (premium co-working space), Life Time Sport (enclosed soccer fields) and Life Time Living (luxury apartments).
Life Time Construction is also responsible for all additions and remodels to our existing facilities through their CAPEX Construction Group.
